I was just making a rubber stamp of a 13 this week. Then I found this, the night before my 13th birthday, I signed in my diary: The next time I write, I will be 13!

Why So Serious?

I wanted to show proof of my toe-headedness. 
This looks like it's in our yard (I think I recognize the tree). Before glasses, so 3rd grade-ish.
The curls would have been created by those pink foam curlers I had slept in. This was most likely first thing in the morning, those curls wouldn't have lasted long.
I love the Charlie Brown Stripe Barrette. 
Look how FLAT chested I am! ;p
This would probably also been about the time I would have been doing my famous Mae West impersonation.
